EFFECT OF THE PESTICIDE ON THE ARBUSCULAR MYCORRHIZAL FUNGI IN THE SOIL OF CITRUS ORCHARD
|
Abstract:
The experiment of the effect of pesticide on the arbuscular mycorrhiza has been carried out. The results indicated that most of the fungicide application severely inhibited AM fungi in the soils, whereas captan did not so. Before inoculation with AM fungi in the bearing citrus orchard, captan treatment, compatible with AMF, could control the pathogens in the soil, and appeared to increase the efficiency of inoculation with AMF. This treatment is recommended for applying mycorrhizal biotechniques to bearing citrus orchard.
