A NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS CLATHRUS FROM CHINA
笼头菌属一新种

This paper reports a new species of the genus Clathrus Mich.: Pers.collected from Hainan Province of China, on the sandy ground in 1996 by the writerherself. This new species is named Clathrus hainanensis X. L Wu sp. nov., It issomewhat similar to Cia thrus ruber Mich.; Pers. but differs in having red receptacleand ellipsoid to cylindric spores. It is also similar to Cia thrus gracilis (Berk.) Schl.,but the latter basidiocarps are small and receptacle is sessile. The holotype specimenis deposited in Mycological Herbarium, Guizhou Academy of Sciences (HGAS),Guiyang, and the isotype in Herbarium of Cryptogams, Kunming Institute of Botany,Academia Sinica (HKAS), Kunming, China.
