CHARACTERIZED VOLVARIELLA VOLVACEA CULTIVATED STRAINS BY MOLECULAR TOOLS
|
Abstract:
Three Volvariella volvacea cultivated strains were characterized using AP-PCR and RAPD. The results were compared with RFLPs (restriction fragment length polymorphism) using the moderately repetitive probes obtained from constructed partial genomic library of V. volvacea strain V34, and another DNA profiles obtianed by PCR-RFLPs, the restriction fragment length polymorphism in the PCR amplified ribosomal RNA sequence. The results demonstrated that the moderately repetitive probes type strains as effectively as other DNA fingerprinting methods. Also, the four types of molecular markers consistently suggest that two of three V. volvacea strains are genetically related.
