RAPID DIAGNOSIS OF YEAST FUNGI

A new way, paper disc was developed to test and classify yeast fungi infecting human. The new method was as effec ive as the traditional method (Auxanographic). Candida albicans was the most common found in total 155 strains, consisting of 71.42%. The results were similar to other reports. The paper disc was a cheap, rapid and useful method for diagnosis.
