TAXONOMIC STUDIES ON PHYSARUM FROM CHINA Ⅲ.UNUSUAL SPECIES SCATTERED IN SEVERAL PROVINCES

Abstract:
In the third of a series of papers on the genus Physarum from China, six species are reported. Four are proposed as new species, viz. P. badhamioides S. L. Chen et Yu Li, P confusum S.L. Chen et Yu Li, P deformans S. L. Chen et Yu Li and P. herbaticum S. L. Chen et Yu Li. They are described, illustrated by SEM and discussed. Other two species are new to China:P auripigmentum G. W. Martin and P. newtonii T. Macbr. All cited specimens are deposited in HMAS.
