ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF ROOT ROT PATHOGEN OF GERBERA JAMESONII IN HAINAN

Nine isolates of Phytophthora were obtained from root rot of Gerbera jamesonii Bolus on Transvaal daisy seedling nursery in Wuzhi shan and Danzhou, Hainan province, and were identified as Phytophthora cryptogea Pethybridge & Lafferty according to their morphology and cardinal temperatures.
