PHYLOGENETIC RELATIONSHIPS OF BIOLOGICAL SPECIES OF ARMILLARIA IN CHINA ANALYSED BY RANDOMLY AMPLIFIED POLYMORPHIC DNA
|
Abstract:
Chinese biological species B and E were compatible to European species A. gallica and A . ostoyae respectively. Phylogenetic relationships among haploid isolates of five Chinese biological species and two European ones have been analysed by AP - PCR with six primers. Seven isolates were divided into four groups based on the result of hierarchical clustering analysis, i. e. species B and A . gallica, A and C , D and E as well as A . ostoyae. This is conformable to the results of pairing tests and direct observation of RAPD patterns. Results of Minimum Spanning Trees (MST) also suggest that biological species B may be identified as the same as A . gallica. Our study suggests that RAPD is a useful tool for research on evolutionary relationships of biological species of Armillaria,
