A NEW SPECIES OF XYLARIA
炭角菌属一新种

A species of the genus Xylaria with special habitaL is described as new and named Xylaria potenlillae A. S. Xu sp. nov. Stroma surface is rough, fertile at apex, and ascomal interior white. It grows on the living root of Polentilla anserina (a herb) and is different from all known species of the genus Xylaria.Type specimen is deposited in Herbarium of Xizang Inshtute of Plateau Ecology (HXZE).
