ISOLATION OF WHITE-ROT FUNGI FROM CHINA FOR SCREENING LACCASE-HYPERPRODUCING STRAINS
|
Abstract:
The isolation of wood-decay fungi from China for screening laccase-producing strains was carried out. One hundred and forty-nine strains were isolated and 30 strains with a basal laccase activity were studied for laccase hyperproduction in liquid medium supplemented with ferulic acid. The highest laccase activities (over 10000 U/l) were obtained in free-cell cultures of Coriolus versicolor G30, Microporus affinis G07, Pycnoporus sanguineus W006, P. sanguineus W006-2, P. sanguineus W3008, P. sanguineus G05 and Lentinus edodes G18 and in immobilized-cell cultures of Tyromyces sp. 98420 and Coriolus consors 98563. The species C. versicolor, M. affinis and P. sanguineus were of particular biotechnological interest.
