Modeling approach supporting model driven development for Web user interface

Model driven development is becoming a tendency in software engineering. However the characteristics of Web user interface with the custom-made but frequently renewing makes the conventional software developing environment not suitable for the requirement of Web user interface engineering design. Focus on the characteristics of Web application, an user-lnterface modeling approach was provided based on XML and interface template. Web user interfaces were described in direct-viewing style with graphics at the model level. The approach can be used to support model driven software engineering.
