Association rules generated by Apriori algorithm includes some useless and even misleading rules. To gain more effective rules, a statistical criteria, Chi-Squared was used to measure the associations, furthermore the quantitative relations between the Chi-Squred test and correlation coefficient was found out, and two measures was united to generate association n.des with correlation coefficient.
