Gait contour extraction based on improved snake model

A gait contour extraction method based on Snake model was proposed, which can search the contour not only correctly but also rapidly. The experiments tested on the CMU database prove that the gait contour can be completely and closely extracted by the proposed method, and recognition rate is also increased effectively.
