New algorithm for adaptive image enhancement based on scale correlation
基于尺度相关性的自适应图像增强新算法

To overcome the limitation of the traditional algorithms in which the noise is often amplified, a new algorithm for adaptive image enhancement based on the wavelet transformation was proposed. The method was derived from the correlation coefficient theory of the wavelets and the correlation of the wavelet coefficient on different scales in the dyadic wavelet transformation. Experiments show that the method not only provides a better image enhancement but also possesses a stronger anti-noise capability, compared to the traditional algorithms.
