Triangle-based localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks

Abstract:
Due to the shortcoming of MBLAmidnormal-based area localization algorithm which has low localization precision and more iterative times, this paper proposed TBLAtriangle-based localization algorithm. This algorithm used two RSSI ranging values between the node to be localized with two anchor nodes, and then constructed a triangle to locate the unknown node. Simulation result shows that TBLA's locating error is only 1/5 of MBLA's, and more importantly, the iterative times are less 1/3 of MBLA's in the same communication radius. So the application value of this algorithm has high.
