Application of inter-operation based on generalized bounding box in Vega

Abstract:
The common scene inter-operations provided by Vega were briefly introduced,with regard to its drawbacks,a generalized bounding box(GBB) was bring forward.The principle of GBB based on AABB and Sphere was given,its data structure was defined and the construct methods were presented.By using Vega API,GBB of the model was established.Based on GBB,several inter-operation methods in Vega virtual scene were put forward,such as model-picking and collision-detecting.The model-picking and collision-detecting algorithms were realized,and were successfully applied in a virtual scene simulation system.
