Application investigation of PN Even Balanced sequences in DS-SS Systems

Achieving processing gain as high as possible is one of the important factors that should be taken into account in the design of a spread-spectrum system. This paper analyzed processing gain from a natural sampling point of view. The analysis has showed that very high processing gains can be achieved in band-limited direct sequence spread-spectrum systems by using PN Even Balanced sequences. Then the way to generate this sequence and its correlation levels were introduced. Finally, simulation results were presented to verify and confirm the correctness of the claim made.
