This paper first introduced the traditional algorithm for phylogenetic tree construction, and then reviewed the swarm intelligence algorithms used to construct phylogenetic trees in recent years, such as ant colony algorithm, genetic algorithms and particle swarm optimization. Finally, this paper introduced the application of phylogenetic networks, and the future deve-lopment prospect.
