Image information hiding based on visual redundancy

The principle of information hiding is using the redundant information of the cover message to embed secret object.The spatial information hiding based on the human inherent visual redundancy to image was studied.At first,several algorithms based on the Least Significant Bits(LSB) and multiple bits of color image were presented.Moreover,the hiding results were analyzed and the embedding position according to HVS was discussed.Finally,the quality of hiding results were evaluated by the entropy values of images.Experiments show that information hiding based on visual redundancy is efficient for finding the best embedding location for different images.
