Performance analysis of M-Charm rate adaptation algorithm inRayleigh flat fading channel

Abstract:
Aiming at the problem of Charm having poor BER performance in Rayleigh flat fading channel, this paper put M-Charm algorithm forward based on Charm. The algorithm improved the accuracy of channel estimation to reduce BER by adjusting signal-to-noise ratio estimation parameters and adding difference compensation mechanism. Simulation result in Rayleigh flat fading channel model shows that M-Charm algorithm not only keeps good throughput performance, but also improves BER performance greatly.
