Agents behavior based modeling and simulation for low-carbon supply chain

Abstract:
This paper established a simulation model after the introduction of carbon trading factors in supply chain with consideration of the uncertainty in a complex market environment and the behavior of participants, and analyzed the impact on corporate profits of company carbon credits, carbon price in carbon trading market and subjective behavior of consumers. The model used Repast Simphony platform and Groovy programming language. Agents behavior included the choice of consumers, low carbon transport and procurement and vendor selection. Simulation results show that the impact on corporate profits of company carbon credits and subjective behavior of consumers is high, carbon price in carbon trading market is low, and validated the feasibility of the model.
