Delay performance analysis of MAC protocol with priority

Abstract:
This paper proposed a MAC protocol named random reserve/demand assignment multiple access protocol with prio-rity according to different time delay demands of different speed terminal.It gave the average end to end (ETE) delay formulates of different priority nodes using the queue theory. Then established a simulation model with OPNET software. The results reflect that the RRDAMA-P protocol meet the different demand of different priority terminals and achieve better time delay performance.
