New delay-dependent passivity criterion of delayed neural networks

Abstract:
This paper considered the problem of passivity analysis for neural networks with time-varying delays. By splitting the bounds of the delay interval in two subintervals and constructing a novel Lyapunov functional, it established a new delay-dependent passivity criterion for the neural network in terms of LMIs, which extended some existing results and has lower conservatism. Finally, two numerical examples and simulation show the effectiveness of the obtained results in the paper.
