DDoS attack detection model based on wavelet
一种基于小波求解的DDoS攻击检测模型

After analyzing the detecting method, a DDoS attack detection model based on wavelet is proposed. The traffic serial is established according to monitor the network, then estimate the Hurst parameter which is the main character of the long range dependence, to check the change of the Hurst parameter to judge the server being attacked or not. Simulation results reveal that the proposed approach has a better detection rate and lower misdetection rate, and consumes less time.
