Application of data hiding based on improved bilinear interpolation algorithm
|
Abstract:
For the shortcomings of low hiding capacity and great impact on image quality in the traditional hiding algorithm, this paper proposed a new data hiding algorithm. It utilized gray-level interpolation to modify the pixel gray value that the secret data to be embedded for the purpose of creating a bigger space for hiding. Meanwhile, it adopted a new method to calculate the difference of adjacent pixels to achieve data hiding which could guarantee the image quality after embedding a large number of secret data. Experimental results indicate that the hiding capacity can be up to 145 800 bit at least where PSNR more than 40 dB. Compared with the traditional algorithms, hide capacity is further improved, at the same time, PSNR value is also maintained at a high level.
