No unified algorithm paradigms, no clear function definition and no specific application are several obstacles preventing the development of artificial immune system research. Starting from the mechanism of biological immune system, and based on comprehensive analysis of existing research works of artificial immune system, this paper proposed a modified artificial immune network, named IFMN, for feature data extraction. Gave a qualitative analysis of the algorithm. And the simulation results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective in extracting feature data.
