Precoding based blind channel estimation for MIMO-CPSC systems

Abstract:
In frequency domain equalization systems, a precoding subspace based blind channel estimation algorithm can effectively estimate the channel. In this paper, a precoding blind channel estimation is proposed for multi-input multi-output single carrier cyclic prefix (MIMO-CPSC) systems. The proposed algorithm exploits the channel information in the cross-correlation matrix of two consecutive received blocks to estimate the channels. This method has low computational complexity and is robust to the channel order overestimation. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm archived a reliable estimation of channels with fewer received blocks.
