As a basic application research of information processing, expert finding (EF) is valuable for scientific research and business management, thus attracts widespread attentions and are continuously studied in recent years.This article aimed to summarize the objectives, issues and methods of expert retrieval research,pointed out the existing problems,and thus provided a reference for other studies.Seriously analyzed and discussed the expertise retrieval model,the application of topic model in expert retrieval and experiment corpus.Specially,concluded its research methods as expert modeling, link analysis, query expansion and expertise evidence identification. Finally,gave the future trends of expert finding.
