Abstract:

The dual equilibrium traffic network model of TBP proposed by using network dual equilibrium theorem can solve the equilibrium systems of tradable bottleneck permitsTBP. Through using equilibrium conditions on links and nodes instead of on paths and relaxing the flow conservation conditions on nodes and equilibrium condition between total demand and time-specified OD flow, this paper constructed the complementarity problems CP of TBP systems. The corresponding VI model made use of the basic equivalence theory between CP and Variational InequalitiesVI. Then gave out an equivalent nolinear programming model to show the effectiveness of the new model and also gave out the method of judging the existence of solution based on temporal-spacial network. A numerical example was given to show the validity of the VI model.
