Skeleton-based routing protocol in wireless sensor network

Abstract:
Power of sensor nodes are limited and usually can not be supplied, and efficient routing protocol will help to reduce the energy consumption of wireless sensor networks and prolong its life time. This paper proposed skeleton-based routing algorithm in wireless sensor networks based on connectivity information. It first extracted skeleton of sensor networks, which was used to name each sensor node. Using the name of nodes, routing can be done from source node to destination node. Simulation results show the efficiency of the protocol.
