Simulation and DSP realization of soft-metric demodulation algorithm in LTE-A systems

Based on the recently released LTE-A R10 standard by 3GPP, this paper researched two soft-metric demodulation algorithms which were used commonly. Balancing the complexity of the time against performance of algorithms, it chose the most suitable internal interleaver algorithm for the TD-LTE wireless integrated test instrument, and realized the algorithm in the TMS32064xDSP. It presented a number of specific strategies and techniques for software optimization and greatly simplified the algorithm of max-log-map .The operation results of the soft-metric demodulation program in CCS3.3 verify that the algorithm of max-log-map is feasible and effective.
