According to the method of data mining using in the image, this paper proposed a new approach based on image degradation and unit pattern matching to mine texture feature. The frequent patterns of texture could be mined by the algorithm of association rules mining. The association rules could be combined to represent the texture. The results demonstrate that the combined association rules represent the regular texture and random texture perfectly.
