Development of software security vulnerability discovery models
|
Abstract:
Software security vulnerability discovery models (SVDMs) are greatly of significance in terms of assessment of software security risk, predication of number of residual security vulnerabilities, and resource allocation for secure mechanisms. In this paper we firstly survey the development status of SVDMs research; then describe the main contents and principles of representative SVDMs, and analyze the features and performances of the models; lastly propose several problems which are worth further studying in SVDMs area.
