New hybrid APF and controlling method

Abstract:
A new hybrid APF (NHAPF) is proposed, which can be applied in high voltage system. A new direct power controlling method for NHAPF is also proposed in the paper. The topology of NHAPF was given, whose transfer function was obtained by its electric model. The compensating principle and capability of NHAPF were analyzed with the transfer function. The stability of the system was also analyzed by Routh criteria. A new direct power control was researched. The validity of the compensating system and the controlling method is tested by simulating experiment.
