Energy-efficient and adaptable secure data aggregation for WSNs

Abstract:
Due to the limited energy of sensors and the time-variation of wireless channels in wireless sensor networks, this paper proposed an efficient and adaptable secure data aggregation protocol for WSNs.It classified sensor nodes into different redundancy sets based on pattern codes without physical meanings, and applied digital fountain coding to data transmission. Simulation results show that the proposed protocol can reduce the redundant data transmission, balance energy consumption in network, and is adaptable for any erasure channel.
