Study of fair resource allocation algorithm for downlink channel in OFDMA relay system

Abstract:
To allocate resource fairly and efficiently in the downlink channel in OFDMA relay system,this paper proposed a utility-based resource allocation algorithm. According to the primal decomposition methods of convex optimization theory,it developed a distributed algorithm to solve the involved problem and obtain the global optimal solution. The theoretic analysis and numerical simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has low complexity, and the system utility is maximized so that the sum-rate capacity of the system is maximized while the fairness of users in the system is guaranteed.
