Research on network video adaptive transmission mechanism based on TFRC

Abstract:
Based on the study of TFRC, this paper improved the congestion avoidance algorithm of TFRC by using delay jitter as the congestion warning signal, and used the improved TFRC in the rate control mechanism of the network video transmission to achieve the purpose of adaptive-tranmission.The NS-2 simulation experiments based on EvailVid tool-sets show that the mechanism can significantly improve QoS of the video transmission.
