Cross-layer resource management in CDMA cellular systems with successive interference cancellation
|
Abstract:
In CDMA cellular systems with successive interference cancellation (SIC), cross-layer resource management need to be studied by taking into account the adjustment of decoding orders due to scare resources and different decoding orders resulting in different system performance. This paper first discussed the research status of radio resource management in this kind of systems, including power control, rate allocation, capacity analysis and admission control, and then analyzed the limitations of current research. Finally, proposed the further research direction of cross-layer resource management.
