Establishment and optimization of model prediction system based on meteorological computational grid

In order to remotely share MM5 model system in meteorological department, MM5 model system was successfully integrated into the established meteorological computational grid platform. According to user forecast requirement, designed parameterization and operation scheme and constructed central China regional MM5 numerical forecast application system. After deployment and operational running, with the help of grid resource scheduling and workflow engine tools, optimized post-processing procedures. Running results indicate much performance improvement of MM5 model system on the grid platform.
