This paper proposed a prognosis model based on HSMM and predicted given the probability of a machine operates in some states the past partial observations.Proposed the prognosis algorithm given the past partial observations based on forward-backward algorithm.The model is applied in prognosis of the gearbox,the result indicates the model is effective.
