Spam filtering is an important technology of active security defense. This paper firstly introduced the development of spam filtering technology and its basic concept. And then classified spam filtering technology according to different stan-dards, meanwhile analyzed and evaluated the popular and major spam filtering methods and technologies. Finally forecasted the development direction of spam filtering technology and its products.
