Cost performance analysis of multi-hop relay based broadband access network
基于多跳中继的宽带接入网组网成本性能分析

This paper provided a qualitative performance assessment of relay based broadband wireless access network in comparison to traditional single-hop deployment. Used cost model and iso-performance curve to analyze and simulate the cost of network deployment. The results show that the deployment of relay can provide anopportunity to reduce the network deployment cost substantially, enhance the cell edge throughput and extend the cell range. The qualitative results further prove that the reuse of relay link between the RS and the BS will help to improve the cost efficiency of the relay based network deployment.
