Survey of load shedding in data stream system

After describing the models of data streams and data stream systems, this paper presented the system constraints of load shedding and the output goals. It presented the classification standards for load shedding in data stream systems. Then analyzed the key mechanisms of existing representative strategies, their characteristic and application area. Finally, summa-rized the important features that good load shedding strategies, and introduced the future strategies and trends.
