Research and implementation of novel intelligent indoor light control system
|
Abstract:
On the basis of ZigBee sensor network, the article presented a novel intelligent indoor light control system which was composed of a number of half-palm sized network nodes with ZigBee protocol stack. Used some network nodes to calculate the number of persons entering the room and their positions in room, others were responsible for sensing the current brightness indoor. All of these nodes sent the information, they collected to the dominated node which usually called coordinator or router. The dominated node could then automatically decide and apply one of the predefined lighting modes depending on the information received from its attached nodes. This article mainly gave a detailed analysis of the implementation of the system, including hardware design of network nodes, indoor environmental information gathering and lighting modes selecting, based on the star topology structure of wireless sensor network, and finally elaborated the performance of the system, proving that the novel intelligent indoor light control system dramatically outperforms traditional light control system in terms of easy operation, energy saving, serviceability and system installation.
