Ultra wide-band communication system based on time-reversed approach
|
Abstract:
The paper presented a UWB system using a time-reversed approach through signal pre-filtering at the transmitter side, and derived closed-form expression for inter-symbol interference and multiple-users interference. The user multiplexing codes was took into account through incorporation of separation probability, which characterized a family of time hopping sequences. The IEEE 802.15.3a channel model was applied, and the derived performances were compared with that of a simulated time hopping time-reversed UWB system. The time-hopping code is Reed-Solomon in a forementioned system, and comparative results indicate a close alignment between simulated and derived error performance.
