System simulation test and analysis on thin-client WebGIS

Thin-client WebGIS dominates the applications of WebGIS. There are different methods to implement thin-client WebGIS. However, there is little research work made on the simulation test and analysis on the system performance of thin-client WebGIS. This paper summarized three methods to implement thin-client WebGIS, simulated and tested the system per-formance using the load testing software of LoadRunner, and eventually discussed the system performance and application con-ditions of different implementation methods by analyzing the test results. The research results are constructive for the design and exploitation of WebGIS.
