Study on material tracking model oriented to small and medium manufacturing enterprise

To implement comprehensive and efficient material tracking, which was a fundamental requirement for lean production in small and medium enterprises(SME), modeled the general and special mapping processes, according to the diversity caused by substitution, rework and batching in material transformation and delivery. Provided the methods for special mapping for respective intentions in concrete situations, and then the composition mapping could be further resolved using the HOOK principles. Demonstrated the application of material mapping models by filing production archives. And designed a semi-matrix architecture for material tracking system for SMEs to enhance the effectiveness and accuracy. Applied models in a productionized integrated production management system which has been implemented in several actual businesses.
