New algorithm for iris image registration
一种新的虹膜图像配准算法*

This paper presented a new iris registration algorithm. The algorithm regarded the external edge of iris as a datum circle and calibrated the translation and scaling of iris. It could get the rectangle image of iris spread more rapidly and efficiently, meantime it maintained the distribution of iris texture feature better. The simulation experiment shows that the results of classification based on the algorithm are satisfied. The algorithm provides novel ideas to the iris recognition and correlative researches.
