Research on structured multi-peers collaboration P2P system

Chord is a typical distributed structured peer-to-peer system. There is not server in the network, but it can be very convenient to find the nodes and data. In the Chord system, one file has only one backup, so it is possible to be lost it. At the same time, the documents transmission speed is slow. To solve the problem, this paper designed a new P2P system, the struc-tured multi-peers collaboration P2P system. It was based on the Chord system. It possessed the merits of both BitTorrent and Chord. No server was necessary in it, but it was easy to find the nodes or data. At the same time, multi-peers might collabo-rate when downloading files to reach very high speed. So the system can resolve the problems above. It is a good distributed structured peer-to-peer system.
