Fuzzy identification of laser printer based on similar black-powder FTIR spectrum graphics

Abstract:
This paper proposed a new method of correlation coefficient fuzzy identification to evaluate the similar Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrum graphics. It improved the subjective and rough identification in eyeballing the similar degree of graphics and the simple comparison of wavenumbers of graphics. So it could identify the type of laser printer objectively and accurately and could be used widely in the case identification involved with laser printer. First, the FTIR spectrum graphics of black-powder of laser printer was got by FTIR technique. Then, as the base of graphics similarity and fuzzy relationship function, the correlation coefficient of graphics was calculated by the wavenumbers, the first derivative, the second derivative and the self-deconvolution of FTIR spectrum graphics. Finally, the type of laser printer was identified by fuzzy synthetic evaluation. The result of experiment shows that the algorithm can meet the aim of design.
