Abstract:

The paper introduced a system framework of 3D nerve visualization and made research of the techniques for the 3D nerves visualization based on serial tissue sections.According to the characters of the images and the specificity of the topographic anatomy of the nerves,the paper proposed a correspondence algorithm using the moment invariants with the consideration of space restriction relationship,obtained the center lines of the nerves with the topological structure,and based on the 3D structures brings up a algorithm to classify the complex nerve fascicles.Finally,experimental results show the using of the proposed algorithms.
